Jeff Rickard has joined ESPN Radio in February 2006 as co-host of ESPN Radio’s GameNight (10 p.m.-2 a.m. nightly).

Prior to joining ESPN Radio, Rickard was at Sporting News Radio where he hosted mid-days and weekends. Previously he served as program director and afternoon co-host for Citadel’s KFNZ/KJQS in Salt Lake City where he also provided pre-game coverage of the Utah Jazz on TV and radio, in addition to providing play-by-play coverage for the WNBA’s Utah Starzz.

“We’re extremely excited to add Jeff to our GameNight lineup,” said Pete Gianesini, ESPN Radio senior director, programming. “His local and national experience will enhance our already solid group who do a great job of informing, entertaining, and exciting our listeners.”

Rickard had also worked for ESPN Radio on a freelance basis, highlighted by his coverage of the 2002 Olympics for ABC and ESPN. He also provided television coverage for the Western Athletic Conference, and gained experience in the Denver, and Pasco, Wash. markets
