Heather Dinich joined ESPN in 2007, and is now a senior writer covering national college football for ESPN.com and as a studio analyst. She is a regular contributor on ESPN College GameDay radio, SportsCenter and Get Up. Dinich has also served as an analyst on Championship Drive: Who’s In for seven straight seasons.

Dinich previously worked for the Baltimore Sun as a sports reporter, mainly covering University of Maryland athletics.

Dinich graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is the 2021 president of the Football Writers Association of America. She is also the mother of three boys.
